Internet Marketing Entrepreneurs: Why Do it Alone?
On my video page, you will find a video labeled MLM. In this video you will see what the traditional MLM model looks like and how it works. So many people following the systems put in place FAIL!
Amazingly, we have someone who has brilliantly thought of a concept….revolutionary in fact. Why do it alone? Have entrepreneurs join a group of like-minded individuals and put the best of the best together to work as a team. This someone is Doug Safriet and Doug truly cares about people. How do I know? I know because he has a vision of helping others become successful.
Ready Built Downline will change and is starting to change the face of network marketing. There will be books written about this pioneering group. Not only do we simply ‘form’ a group….we have a professional structure and flow for new members. Our marketing group consists of a diverse set of talents/skills and training is offered and shared in many areas to members of RBD which is an added benefit of becoming an Ready Built Downline member. You get an immense amount of value in this group as well as the opportunity to become very successful…..finally…..where others fail….in network marketing, by doing it alone.
Here is a new video that explains further What is an entrepreneur and Why an entrepreneur will benefit by joining Ready Built Downline.
What is Ready Built Downline?
When you start a home business (specifically MLM or Network Marketing) and you’re just starting out as I did back in 2004…you better hope you choose a great company with a great product and most of all a terrific system for building the business. Well, I did and I didn’t. I know now that I didn’t give it enough of a fair shake, it got discouraging pretty quickly.
Over the years, I have invested my money and time in one other company who I believed in wholeheartedly, had a great passion for and committed everything because I was determined to be successful at it. After two years I had to give it up. I despised quitting but when you are so far in the red, you have to know when to call it.
My main challenge both times was building a downline. It isn’t easy finding other business builders and most of all RETAINING them in your downline, especially if they aren’t making money. It’s the first thing people let go when times are hard.
A little over a month ago, I was introduced to Ready Built Downline. This is the brainchild of Doug Safriet. Doug has a vision and it is becoming more than a reality!
This group of entrepreneurs, business folk and regular folk who are joining in droves…are seeing the big picture and Doug’s vision and want a piece of the action. This concept is revolutionary and will change the face of network marketing as we know it.
People coming in are aware there is a business opportunity and auto ship which is part of the system that is set into place and by joining RBD, you have your downline placed for you. In 2012, it is projected that we will be involved with 3-4 companies. We will be committing to an auto ship with each company and people will always have to enter the 1st Opp. first and so on.
In summary, this is the best group of people I’ve had the pleasure of working with. There’s no push n’ shove to grab the new people coming in. Everyone is warmly welcomed into the group, for the group. Everyone contributes with whatever time/talents/capacity one can offer. It is such a joy being in RBD.
Of course….. a bunch of people have already gotten paid a couple of checks (we get paid weekly) and we only joined our first business March 17th. I’ve never seen anything like it! Get in early. RBD is still in its infancy, but growing rapidly. Be part of this revolution!

How to Become a Technology Lawyer
Technology is continually developing and it requires a number of laws to be introduced to protect developers and consumers, as well as businesses. Because of this, it is important for there to be lawyers who are experienced and have knowledge in the area. The question is how you become a technology lawyer.
The first step is to become an attorney. Like for any type of law, you will need to go through law school and then pass the bar for your state. After that, you will need to find a law firm who specializes in technology law. This is a diverse subject, so there are bound to be a number of different clients who come in.
You will need to gain experience as a technology lawyer through the law firm. You will usually start as an associate and then work your way up. As an associate you may not have full control over what you specialize in, unless the lawyer who you shadow will offer you that chance. It is best to take up as much experience as possible since you will need to gain experience in the court room as well as doing the paperwork.
It is important that you know how to fill out the paperwork for a patent and that you know about the appeals process. A patent is extremely important when it comes to technology as it will mean that someone else will not be able to create the same design as your client. Appealing is also important as there are a number of companies who will have moles and spies and will take a design and get a patent in before you do.
With technology, you will find that you have to juggle many cases all at the same time. You will need to gain experience in dealing with that and sometimes it is not just about juggling technology law cases. Take on as many as you know that you can handle and build up your ability to take on more cases. This will take time but you will get there in the end. The more cases you can handle, the better you will be as a technology lawyer.
My Favorite ‘HUB’ on the Internet for Marketing & Networking = IBO Toolbox
I joined IBO Toolbox just about a month ago and what amazing results I am getting! It’s an amazing community, like a forum gone-wild and uber traffic! I am so addicted!
IBO Toolbox is entirely FREE to Join, FREE to Use, and will ALWAYS be FREE. Ya gotta love free, but when it comes to offering tools to run our livelihoods, it makes an even bigger impact.
Advertising on IBO is super easy, it’s on a points system. You gain points for referring, posting a blog, attending webinars and more. You can even pass points to your downline to help them grow!
There is an easy navigational system which lets you know if you’re ‘behind’ on certain tasks. Marketing isn’t a one-time shot…it is on going, but with IBO’s handy-dandy red and green arrows, it almost can be done before you get your dose of morning caffeine!
I think that in the first three days, I had about 30+ ‘associates’ or friends. Everyone on IBO is promoting their business by networking, but it’s fun and non-intrusive and nobody is pushy. Everyone I’ve interacted with to date has been very helpful and friendly and most of all…PROFESSIONAL.
The banners, badges, and signature boxes are really classy. They have badges for all types of businesses out there including Talk Fusion, Mona Vie, Mary Kay, Pre-Paid Legal, One24, iWowWe, Skinny Body Case and more!
They have a link where all recent activity is like a running blotter and is constantly a traffic sucking monster! www.ibojunction.com
I will tell you….nobody does it like IBO!
If you’d like to test drive it for FREE, here on this banner below and come aboard. I promise, you will love what you see.
In the Life of a QR Code
Most people are getting comfortable seeing QR Codes (Quick Response) in the marketplace, magazines, realtor ads, Facebook, and more. This unique ‘bar code’ is becoming an important tool to small and large businesses and yet a lot of times they are not used efficiently.
The code you may see looks like this:
What makes a code like this WORK is when someone has a smartphone and is mobile and can quickly and easily scan the code to visit the site it links to.
What makes this code fairly pointless is when it links to a site that is NOT mobile optimized and the customer has trouble reading or finding the information when they view the web site on their smart phone.
I see this all the time, commonly with real estate listings. A realty company or realtor says “Hmm….I want to check out this new QR Code thing and use it for my listings”. They Google it and create themselves a nifty little code for their listings. A potential home buyer drives by a property, scans the code for a ‘virtual tour’ and it brings up photos so tiny, it’s impossible to see on their phone. The potential homebuyer is frustrated and does not pursue the listing (not always, but most likely to happen).
Small businesses need to consult with marketing managers to find what and how marketing techniques work and work well with their own business. Small business owners know they should be social and have an online presence so often times they try to do it themselves. Many times successful, but many times not because they do what they do best and social, mobile marketers are here with the knowledge and expertise to help.
Some of the best ways to use QR Codes:
Realtors: Virtual listings, slideshows
Bands: Linking to song clips
Retail: Linking to coupon codes, product information, sell-by dates, recipes, where-to-find and more
Anyone (go green and simple): Virtual Business Cards

What are Your Motivational Thoughts?

This isn’t about positive thinking or motivating quotes which are also sometimes effective in shaping your attitude and thinking. It’s about your own thoughts – those which are most effective at getting you going. What motivates each of us is unique.
What do motivational thoughts do? They help you take action.
“The only way of finding the limits of the possible is by going beyond them into the impossible.”
Arthur C. Clarke
Take this quote for example, it may help you look at the positive side of a situation, but what if it just doesn’t get you excited? All you need now is to apply some thought and reflection make the idea your own. Then you have to make it a truly motivational thought for YOU.
Your Own Motivational Thoughts
“Making it your own” means experimenting with a good thought until you find a way to use it as a recipe of sorts for motivation.
Suppose, as an example, you’re in a difficult situation and don’t want to deal with it. As you sit there, you play around with some ideas of positiveness coming from difficulty. You’ll probably discover that it pulls you out of your slump thinking about yourself in the future…in a positive situation, maybe telling a friend how you turned the difficult situation to your advantage.
This is how you create your own motivational thoughts. Now, it might be more motivating if you imagine yourself being interviewed in the future about how you overcame this difficult time. It’s the thoughts that work for you that are the thoughts you need to be thinking.
Motivations You Learn
Experiment with your mind and figure out how it works. For me, I love to brainstorm and make lists. This gets my mind in full blown motivation mode. The catalyst for me is to recap my thoughts out loud to a friend or my mom. By the time I am done, I’m very motivated to work.
Maybe some of these are what motivates YOUR mind:
**Thinking about being poor
**Perhaps it’s when people say you can’t do something
Always keep in mind that there is a reward or positive outcome to whatever task is at hand. Even when it’s an uninspiring task like cleaning house, just think of how good it will feel to see shiny surfaces and the whoosh of energy you usually get after a good couple of hours of laborious cleaning. I tend to procrastinate on these types of tasks, but I feel so energized and great when I’m done. Think the of end game!!
Some people use simple rewards such as shopping, a trip to the beach, etc. as a positive ending to their task. Anything that works and gets your mind motivated, use it.
You will be glad you did!
Creating YOUR Online Presence and Establishing Your Brand

Branding is truly essential for any serious business because a company’s ‘brand’ is what sets it apart from its competitors. In today’s Internet/Mobile age, it is necessary for a majority of businesses to have an active online presence to stay competitive. With effective Internet branding along with offline/local branding….you can be assured that you are reaching your full consumer audience potential and drive customer demand.
Internet branding isn’t as easy as just throwing up a web site (even if expensive) and creating a logo…it does require a certain strategy. You will need to engage with your followers and heighten your social factor. Sometimes ‘time’ doesn’t allow you to do this personally so there are now social media managers who can offer services based on your needs, budget, and size.
Using and having access to the latest in technology and methods, social media managers can attract and engage a large following on your behalf and get your brand noticed.
Your ideal plan should include a good design, exceptional content and ease of use to create an effective user experience. Even if you have a website in place, you may want to consider making your business accessible to mobile users as well, since this is a fast growing population.
A strong online image will make the difference between making a sale or losing one. Remember, that online customers can just leave your site and go to your competitors at the click of a mouse. A lot depends on the first impression as well as ongoing experiences they will get from your site.
There are many components that can be customized for your business so you can effectively promote your brand. Hiring a branding specialist/social media manager might be helpful in creating an effective online presence that can become a valuable asset to your business.
Hear Ye Business Owners, Traffic Alert!
Small business owners have the potential to have the upper hand in today’s economy. The trick is for them to know which tools/methods to use in order to stay in front of their prime audience of customers/clients/consumers.
We are fortunate to have a huge www (world wide web) or Internet highway system that leads all across our country and many other countries around the globe. We can send any information at such speed; it can reach our neighbor or Zimbabwe at the same time!
It is estimated that traffic on the web is going to quadruple in just the next couple of years! Now is the time to establish your business’ presence online and establish your brand.
The fact is….some businesses will wait. The reasons are many, whether it is time, money, denial, or being unsure how to start….but now is the time to start to gathering a social following.
Some business owners still think the Yellow Pages or newspaper is the way to go! Whoo….are they in trouble! Some business owners think PPC (Pay per click ads) or buying traffic is the way to go…and while they’re at least in the neighborhood….that neighborhood is going downhill as well. That’s what is amazing about the Internet, it’s constantly changing.
Truth is, consumers want interaction. They want to see other consumers have an experience and hear how it went. Traffic is no longer ####’s. It’s about relationships. Those take time to build and so you can see why time is of the essence.
Take advantage of new technology and new methods to grow your online presence. Seek a consultant to learn about customized options for your business. Not all methods are ideal, depending on what services or products you offer.
NOW is the time….
Does Your Company Need a Mobile Website and Why?
If your business does not have a mobile website, don’t worry…you’re still ahead of the curve. It’s estimated that about 22% of mobile users have smart phones (which is growing exponentially), but there are 4x’s as many mobile users as internet users! Where do you think your customers will find you if on-the-go?
Very few businesses are using mobile marketing at this time, but it is a very good idea to get engaged early to stay in front of your competition.
Mobile websites are essentially optimized for mobile users. For example, if you brought a standard website up on your phone’s browser, it would be very hard to read and you would have to scroll left and right and most likely the consumer will go elsewhere out of frustration. Mobile websites are designed to be a lot more simple and informative than a standard website so a customer can get the information they are looking for VERY easily.
There are many mobile website extensions as there are many for standard websites (.com, .net, .us, .gov) and the most common is .mobi. It depends where you get your domain which extension you will have. It is always a good idea to prominently display links to your mobile website throughout your store or campaign so the user can save it to their phone for future use.
Google also recognizes when it’s a mobile user doing a local search and will display mobile sites over standard sites. This is also a good reason to get on board early, because you have a VERY good chance to be the frontrunner on Google if someone is searching for a restaurant, a hair/nail salon, doctor, dentist, plumber, etc.
There are many marketing techniques to help you grow your business. If you are not taking advantage of this mobile market, you are losing business and giving it away to your competitors. Can you afford to do this?

What Do I Blog About Today? Here’s 5 Tips…
Choosing the right blog topics is crucial for the life of a blog. Some bloggers simply write about whatever is on their mind, not offering much in the way of helpful or entertaining content. Bloggers who become known as successful bloggers know how to engage their readers and keep them coming back. You should keep the interests of your readers in mind when writing.
To keep your blog as magnetic as possible, consider using the following ways to find some ideas for your blog topics.
Do Your Research
Smart bloggers will discuss popular search terms or what’s ‘hot’ in the internet world. Each day, do a brief look online and see what people are interested in. A good spot for this is Twitter, since Twitter is so ‘in the now’. Also, basing a topic on popular search terms increase your chances of coming up in an actual search.
Ask Your Friends and Peers
Sometimes we can hit plateaus, as in weight loss, where we run dry of ideas. This is when you may want to do some helpful interviews, make a YouTube video to increase traffic, or do a great review of a newly released product. Talk to your friends and peers and see what they would like to read about, questions they would like answered.
News Events
News teams do a lot of research prior to reporting on a topic. You can skip all of this hard work and utilize the topic, while making it your own. Always develop your own ideas based on their topics; NEVER copy anything, of course (for instance an opinion on a recent event).
Follow the Leader
Maybe your favorite fellow bloggers’ posts will spark some ideas. Use that to stir up some ideas of your own. This will also help, because when a post is getting a lot of commenting or retweeting, you will know people have an interest in the topic itself. (Just another reminder not to copy content.)
Give it a Couple Days
Sometimes we feel like we need to be content-spitting machines. While readers do love fresh content, they would rather have a steady stream of worth-while posts to read. Sometimes the first thoughts when you wake up can blossom into content. Jot ideas down throughout the day and then create something around your notes. This way, there is no pressure…you’re having these thoughts anyway!!
These are just some ideas for blog posts. I hope this helps ‘jog’ your creative mind! Until next time….
